Viking Museum, Iceland

On a rainy day in Iceland sandwiched between our days in Reykjavik and the Blue Lagoon , we decided to check out the closest museum to our hotel: the Viking World Museum! You can check it out here. The museum is located on the coast, near the town of Reykjanesbaer and was very fascinating historically.

The first exhibit that catches your eye upon entrance to the museum is the giant wooden Viking ship hanging from the ceiling!
